Although I have created and used blogs with my previous classes it has been a while since I have actively blogged. Just prior to commencing the Web 2.0 course I created my own eportfolio blog after attending an elearning course with George Couros. I played around with this blog and was able to create pages with tabs. Very exciting!!!
I previously created a blog for my Year 6 class and we used this blog to reflect on our learning. I will be creating a blog for the Year 4 class I currently teach. I endeavour to use a blog to document our learning in a meaningful way.
I had a look at Wordpress and I was impressed with the layout. I created a blog but am yet to fill it in with anything interesting. Over the next week I will have a look at Tumblr and edublog too and see what they have to offer.
I already have a twitter account but I only recently joined. I recommend tweetdeck for your pc and hootsuite for your mobile as excellent ways for viewing and using twitter.
